FCC REGULATIONS
You must be familiar with Part 80 of FCC regulations before operating your
MTX-100. "Operation," Faxback Doc. # 39289 conforms to Part 80 but does
not cover all items in Part 80.
The FCC Form 506 is all that is necessary to license your radio
for use on a pleasure craft in domestic waters. Form 506A, which is part
of Form 506, provides temporary operation authority while you are waiting
for your license.
For other licenses and/or information contact:
FCC P.O. Box 1040 Gettysburg, PA 17325
You can listen to any of the channels, but the nature of transmissions is
exactly specified for each of the 54 two-way channels. See "Channel
Assignments," Faxback Doc. # 39292.
