INSTALLING THE BATTERY

Your transceivers use standard 9-volt batteries for operation.  For longest
life, we recommend you use alkaline batteries such as Radio Shack Cat. No.
23-553.

Follow these steps to install the battery:

1.  Remove the battery compartment cover by sliding it in the direction of
    the arrow.

2.  Remove the old battery, and dispose of it properly.

3.  Install the new battery.  Be sure to observe proper polarity (+ and -).

4.  Replace the battery compartment cover.

INSTALLING THE BELT CLIP

Your transceivers come with belt clips.  To install the clip, slide the
clip into the slot on the back of the transceiver until it locks into
place.

To remove the belt clip, lift up on the locking tab and slide the clip out.
