56K ITU V.90 Modem*

Technology Description:

The 56K ITU V.90-compliant modem is the latest advance in high-speed analog 
modem technology.  The modem supports both V.90 and K56flex for modem 
connections above 33.6Kbps.  V.90 is the final 56K standard supported by 
the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) and once widely deployed, 
will supercede K56flex and x2 as interim standards.

Widest ISP Compatibility:
When the V.90 protocol is fully deployed users will be able to connect at 
speeds above 33.6 Kbps with little worry that their modem supports the same 
interim 56K compatibility standard.

From here, follow the link to modem upgrades.  Once at the modem upgrade 
site, enter in the Presario Model Number, Country and Operating System.

download!
