MICROSOFT ENCARTA 99
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
MicroSoft Encarta 99 Encyclopedia is your doorway to a rich and
"fascinating" world of information.  To install this software, follow the
directions below:

1.  Insert the Encarta 99 CD into the CD-DRIVE.  The Welcome dialog box
    should appear.  Click on NEXT.

2.  The End User License Agreement will appear.  Be sure to carefully read
    and understand all of the rights and restrictions, then click on
    ACCEPT.

3.  A dialog box will appear, indicating that the program will be installed
    in the following directory:

    C:\PROGRAM FILES\MICROSOFT REFERENCE\ENCARTA ENCYCLOPEDIA

    Click NEXT.

4.  A dialog box labeled "READY TO INSTALL" will appear.  Click FINISH.

5.  Files will begin copying.  A gauge will appear, indicating what
    percentage of the files have been copied.

6.  Once it is finished copying, a dialog box indicating that the setup is
    complete will appear.  To immediately run Encarta 99, click RUN.  To
    return to Windows, click EXIT SETUP.

COREL WORDPERFECT SUITE 8

Corel WordPerfect Suite 8 adds an updated, more intuitive user interface to
a classic product.  To install this package, follow the directions below:

1.  Insert the Corel WordPerfect Suite 8 CD into the CD-DRIVE.  The
    WordPerfect Suite Setup dialog box will appear.  Click on "COREL
    WORDPERFECT QUITE SETUP".

2.  A dialog box welcoming you to the Corel WordPerfect Suite Setup will
    appear.  Click on NEXT.

3.  The End User License Agreement will appear.  Be sure to carefully read
    and understand all of the rights and restrictions, then click on YES.

4.  A dialog box requesting the following information will appear:

    FIRST NAME__________________________________
    LAST NAME___________________________________
    COMPANY_____________________________________
    SERIAL NUMBER_______________________________

    The serial number should be on the Corel Registration Card included in
    the MultiMedia Kit (Example: WP8X0-CPQ3527952).  Enter the information,
    then click on NEXT.

5.  A dialog box asking what type of installation you prefer.  The options
    are:

    TYPICAL         -    PERFORMS A STANDARD INSTALLATION (RECOMMENDED)
                         DEFAULT SIZE 151.65 MB
    COMPACT         -    PERFORMS A MINIMUM INSTALLATION
                         DEFAULT SIZE 64.94 MB
    CUSTOM          -    LETS YOU CHOOSE WHICH COMPONANTS TO INSTALL
                         DEFAULT SIZE 152.84
    RUN FROM CD     -    INSTALLS FILES TO THE HARD DISK THAT LETS YOU RUN
                         THE APPLICATIONS FROM THE CD-ROM (RUNS SLOWEST)
                         DEFAULT SIZE 28.87 MB

    The recommend option for most users is TYPICAL.  Select the one that
    you prefer, then click on NEXT.

NOTE:  If you select CUSTOM, then select all options, the installation will
       require 433.93 MB.

6.  A dialog box asking you to select which packages to install.  The
    options are:

    __x__ COREL WORD PERFECT 8
    __x__ COREL QUATTRO PRO 8
    __x__ COREL PRESENTATIONS 8
    __x__ ENVOY 7
    _____ COREL PHOTO HOUSE
    _____ BITSTREAM FONT NAVIGATOR 2.0
    _____ COREL WORDPERFECT SGML
    __x__ COREL DAD 8
    __x__ TRUE TYPE FONTS
    __x__ REFERENCE CENTER 8

    Select the options that you wish to install.  By default, the space
    required will be 151.65 MB.  If you select all components, it will
    require 181.18 MB.  Click on NEXT.

7.  A dialog box will appear, indicating that the program will be installed
    in the following directory:

    C:\COREL\SUITE8\

    Click on INSTALL.

8.  Files will begin copying.  A gauge will appear, indicating what
    percentage of the files have been copied.  This will go on for some
    time, and will count up to 100 % more than once, as more than one
    package is being installed.  While it is copying, you will be treated
    to a series of advertisements for other Corel products.

9.  Once it is finished copying files, a dialog box informing you that
    Setup needs to restart the computer to complete the installation.
    Click on RESTART.

10. Windows will restart.  Files will begin copying.  A gauge will appear,
    indicating what percentage of the files have been copied.

11. Finally, a dialog box will appear, informing you that the setup has
    complete successfully.  Click on OK.
