The pointer on the screen follows your finger movements on the touchpad.
You can use your finger as a pointer to draw lines or point to items on the
DeskTop. To simulate a mouse-click press the left touchpad button, located
directly below the touchpad. The left touchpad button works as the
standard select or drag button. The right touchpad button works as the
standard context menu or special drag button. To double click on an item,
move the pointer over the item and press the left touchpad twice.
Setting the Tapping And Double Tapping Feature:
The Compaq 1232 Notebook has a tapping and double-tapping feature that
works like a left mouse button. If this feature is enabled, you can tap
once on the touch pad to select an opject and tap twice to simulate a
double-click.
To enable the tapping feature, follow the steps below:
1. From the Windows DeskTop, click on START, then SETTINGS, and then
CONTROL PANEL.
2. Double-click on MOUSE and select the TOUCH tab.
3. Click on the TAP TO CLICK checkbox to enable the tapping feature.
