You can use the function keys on your keyboard to perform certain simple
tasks quickly and easily.  The fucntion keys are located on the top row of
your keyboard.  The <FN> key, which is used to activate a fucntion key, is
located in the lower-left potion of the keyboard, to the left of the <CTRL>
key.

To use a function key, press the FN key at the same time as your press a
function key.

FUNCTION KEY    DESCRIPTION
<FN> + <F2>     Toggles between the internal display and external monitor.
<FN> + <F3>     Sleep mode
<FN> + <F4>     Hibernate mode
<FN> + <F5>     Contrast control down
<FN> + <F6>     Contrast control up
<FN> + <F7>     Brightness control down
<FN> + <F8>     Brightness control up

To access the embedded numeric keypad, press <SHIFT> + <NUM LK>.
