The modem is an unidentifiable modem, using a Rockwell chipset.  In
Windows, it uses the following drivers:

WS-3314JS3 VFD PLUG & PLAY

It comes preset as COM1.  The documentation which comes with the IBM E-40
implies that it will work at an MS-DOS level.

The closest thing to specifications that we have for this modem is:
33.6Kbps modem with 14.4 fax
