To disable email while you setup Windows Messaging:

1.  Open Ring Central, Start > Programs > Aptiva Productivity > Aptiva
    Communication > Ring Central

2.  Click the Menu button

3.  Click Setup Wizard

4.  Follow the wizard until you come to the screen that asks:

    Would you like to use RingCentral to send and recieve you E-mail
    messages?

    Select NO
5.  Finish the wizard

 ** Close Ring Central before following the rest of this procedure **


To verify Internet Mail is installed:

1.  Add/Remove Programs Properties > Windows Setup tab > Windows 
    Messaging > Details...

2.  Verify that there is a check by Internet Mail Services, if not place
    one there and click OK

3.  Click OK again
    The files should be copied at that point installing Internet mail.


To setup a profile for use by RingCentral:

1.  Control Panel > Mail

2.  If the customer already has a profile created click Show Profiles...
    Click Add...

3.  Deselect each service except Internet Mail by removing the checks
    next to each (Microsoft Fax, Microsoft Mail, The Microsoft Network 
    Online Service, Compuserve Mail)

4.  Click Next

5.  Select Modem

6.  Click Next

7.  Click New...

8.  The Make New Connection wizard will appear

9.  Either leave the name as My Connection or change it to a desired name
    and verify that the correct modem is listed in the Select a modem
    drop-down box for that model Aptiva

10. Click Next

11. Fill in the area code and phone number for the customer's Internet 
    Service Provider

12. Click Next

13. Click Finish

14. Back at the Inbox Setup Wizard click Next...

15. Fill in the name of the service provider's POP server

16. Click Next

17. Click Automatic and click Next

18. Fill in the E-mail address, and Full name boxes

19. Click Next

20. Type in the mailbox account name and password for the mail server
    in the Mailbox name and password boxes respectively

21. Click Next

22. Personal Address Book creation, Click Next

23. Personal Folders creation, Click Next

24. Done!
    Click Finish

25. Back at the Mail control panel window click Close

26. Close Control Panel


To setup RingCentral to receive email:

1.  Open Ring Central, Start > Programs > Aptiva Productivity > Aptiva
    Communication > Ring Central

2.  Click the Menu button

3.  Click Setup Wizard

4.  Follow the wizard until you come to the screen that asks:

    Would you like to use RingCentral to send and recieve you E-mail
    messages?

    Select Yes

5.  Finish the wizard

 ** If the customer has MORE THAN ONE profile created you will need to 
    click Menu on RingCentral then click Options...  Click the E-Mail
    tab and select Use the following Profile. Choose the Windows
    Messaging Settings you just created in the drop-down box. Click OK
    and the message below will appear.**

6.  After finishing the wizard the following message will appear:

    Email settings have changed. Would you like to synchronize Microsoft
    Exchange/Windows Messaging phone book and RingCentral phonebook?

7.  Click Yes

8.  Another message will appear:

    Ring Central needs to be restarted before some of your changes will
    take effect.  Do you want to restart it now?

9.  Click Yes
10. Upon restart Ring Cental will immediately attempt to dial with My
    Connection and retrieve email.
