Controlling Home Director Modules

This section lists the main areas covered by Home Director Voice Command
Phrases.  To see the commands used to perform a particular function, refer
to the following function that you would like to perform.

Go to a Different Room Tab

To change to a different room tab, say: GO TO with a tab name, or just say
the tab name.

  Sample Phrases: Kitchen
                  Go To Living Room

Move a Module to a Different Room

To move a module to a different room tab, say: MOVE or RELOCATE with either
the module name, the routine name or the Housecode/Unitcode address TO and
the tab name.

  Sample Phrases: Relocate Come Home to Kitchen
                  Move Floor Lamp To Living Room
                  Move A12 To Kitchen

Select a Module

To select a module, say: SELECT and either the module name, the routine
name, the Housecode/Unitcode address, or the word NOTHING (which deselects
all modules).

  Sample Phrases: Select TV
                  Select A9
                  Select Go To Bed
                  Select Nothing

Turn a Module On/Off

To turn a module on or off, say either: the module name, or the Housecode/
Unitcode address and the word ON or OFF or TURN or TURN THE with the module
name, or the Housecode/Unitcode address and the word ON or OFF or TURN ON
THE or TURN OFF THE with the module name, or the Housecode/Unitcode address.

The command word THE can be left off, so that the command is simply TURN ON
or TURN OFF as shown in the samples below.

  Sample Phrases: Floor Lamp On
                  Turn The Floor Lamp Off
                  Turn Bravo 10 Off
                  Turn On Floor Lamp
                  Turn Off The Coffee Maker

Dim a Lamp Module

To dim a lamp module, say: DIM and either the lamp module name, or the lamp
module Housecode/Unitcode address TO and a percentage from 0 to 100 with or
without the word PERCENT.

  Sample Phrases: Dim Floor Lamp To 25 Percent
                  Dim B10 To 85
                  Dim Bravo 10 To 40 Percent

Schedule an Event

Select module first, to schedule a module event, say: SCHEDULE with either
the module name, the routine name or the Housecode/Unitcode address.

  Sample Phrases: Schedule Lawn Sprinklers
                  Schedule Bravo 8
                    ("Bravo" being the phonetic alphabet word for "B")

Initiate a Routine

A routine can be initiated by saying: INITIATE with or without a routine
name, or by just saying the routine name.

  Sample Phrases: Come Home
                  Go To Bed
                  Initiate Come Home

Check The Status of a Module

To check the status of a module that has a "status button", say: WHAT'S THE
STATUS OF with either the module name, or the Housecode/Unitcode address.

  Sample Phrases: What's The Status Of Floodlight
                  What's The Status Of Bravo 10

Go to the Routine Assistant

To go to the Routine Assistant screen, say: ROUTINE ASSISTANT.

Clear a Picture That's on The Screen

To remove a picture currently shown on the screen, say: CLEAR or REMOVE
with or without the word PICTURE.
