Backup any important programs and/or data files to 3.5" floppy or
to another drive (d: or e:).

To restore the original contents of the c: drive:
1.  Insert the Product Recovery CD into the CD-ROM drive and restart
    the computer.
2.  At the first screen press Enter.
3.  A message saying, "Do you wish to update the Aptiva software on
    your hard disk (Y/N)?" will appear.
    Press Y.
4.  A message saying, "Do you accept these terms and conditions (Y/N)?"
    will appear.
    Press Y.
5.  Next appears, "Warning! If you continue, your hard disk will be 
    formatted and all files will be lost.  Any personal files you 
    wish to save should be backed up to diskette(s).  Do you wish 
    to continue (Y/N)?"
    Press Y.
6.  Files will begin inflating and restoring.  The portion of the
    restore will take approximately 30 minutes.
7.  Upon completion the message "Aptiva Recovery has completed" will 
    appear.
    Remove the Aptiva Product Recovery CD and press Enter to restart
    the computer.
8.  Upon restart of Windows 95 all devices will automatically be
    detected and reinstalled.  This will take a few minutes.
9.  Once into Windows 95 you must proceed through the setup and provide
    information like the Authentication number found on the Certificate
    of Authenticity.
10. Once finished with the initial Windows 95 setup you will need to 
    reinstall any programs or data files and recreate shortcuts for 
    programs moved to other drives.
