Q) Why does RingCentral take a long time to initialize when I start it?
A) If you are using RingCentral for e-mail, it might take longer for
   RingCentral to start because it is processing your e-mail.

Q) Why isn't RingCentral answering calls?
A) Make sure that:
     * Answer button on the Main screen is on.  If it is off, click Answer
       to turn on the light.
     * If you have other telephone devices or answering machines connected
       to the same phone line as RingCentral, turn off the Auto Answer
       function on the those telephones.
     * Your data terminal application is closed.  If a data terminal is
       open, the active application (the one which is in the foreground)
       will answer the call.
     * You are not trying to open a fax while the call is coming in.
       RingCentral cannot answer incoming calls until it is completely done
       opening the fax.

Q) I selected RingCentral Fax as my default printer, but my print jobs are
   not sent as RingCentral faxes.
A) RingCentral Fax will be set as the default printer only after the first
   time you launch RingCentral.

Q) Why is the telephone is still ringing after I pick it up?
A) If you have an MWave board, it might take your system longer to process
   an incoming call.

Q) Why can't callers hear me while a message is playing online?
A) This is a MWave board limitation. MWave turns off the microphone when a
   message is played online.

Q) I subscribe to Caller ID from my telephone company, but RingCentral does
   not recognize callers or play Distinctive Prompts or Private Greetings.
A) Make sure that RingCentral is set to answer after three or more rings
   (this option is set on the Answering tab of the Options dialog).

Q) When I use RingCentral for e-mail, I cannot receive faxes.
A) By default, when you install Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Fax installs
   as a service.  When you launch RingCentral, it automatically starts
   Microsoft Fax.  To ensure that your incoming fax calls are answered
   correctly, do one of the following:
      * Remove Microsoft Fax from your Microsoft Exchange profile.
      * Disable answering on either RingCentral or Microsoft Fax.
      * Set a different number of rings to answer for RingCentral and
        Microsoft Fax.

Q) Why can't I adjust speaker volume using Windows 95 Volume Control
   Balance?
A) The Windows 95 Volume Control balance has no effect on RingCentral.  To
   adjust speaker volume, move the Vol button on the far right edge of the
   Main screen.

Q) Why does RingCentral take a long time to disconnect after receiving a
   fax?
A) If RingCentral is set to Answer as Fax Only, the modem might take up
   to 1 minute to disconnect.
