IBM APTIVA STEALTH S SERIES CORDLESS MOUSE SETUP

Start > Settings > Control Panel > Mouse > Devices (tab) > Setup

A Setup Wizard appears with the following screens:

1) This procedure will establish the communication between one or two
   cordless mice and the receiver.

   Locate the receiver, as you will be asked to operate the device switch
   and observe the green light on it.

   Click Next.

2) Set the switch on the receiver to the 2-device position.

   Click Next.

3) Set the switch on the receiver to the 1-device position.

   Click Next.

4) Take the cordless mouse in your hand.  If you have 2 mice, take any one
   and keep the other for later.

   Locate the teal channel button under the mouse.

   Click Next or hit Enter.

5) Press and quickly release the channel button located under your cordless
   mouse.  The green light on the receiver should blink.

   If the receiver light does not blink, the batteries on the cordless
   mouse may need to be replaced.

   Click Next or hit Enter.

6) Move the mouse to lock in the communication with the receiver.

   Move the mouse until the progress bar is completely across the screen.
   No need to click Next, as soon as the bar is across it automatically
   moves to the next screen.

7) Cordless communication has been established!

   Click Next.

8) Please indicate if you have a second cordless mouse.

   0 I have ONE cordless mouse
   O I have TWO cordless mice

   Click Next.

9) Congrats!  The cordless setup is complete.

   Click Finish.

When the setup is finished the pointer will not move for a couple of
seconds while it saves the settings bringing you back to the Mouse control
panel.
