When the Aptiva C66 is powered up for the first time, a menu will be
displayed giving the options, Business, Home, or Store.  If Store is
chosen, the store demo is installed.  By default, the demo is installed in
a special "Protected Mode" which limits access to system settings.  In some
situations you may need access to these settings.  To unprotect the demo,
use the following procedure:

1. Press any key to access the demo menu screen.

1. Press CTRL-C to access the password screen.  Enter your password.  Click
   on Return To Windows.

2. Create a Shortcut to File Manager:
   - Right-click on the Desktop, then left click on New, then on Shortcut.
   - In the Command Line field, type:
     C:\WINDOWS\WINFILE.EXE
   - Click Next.
   - Type File Manager
   - Click Finish.

3. Double-click the File Manger shortcut to launch File Manager.

4. Open the C:\APTDEMO\INSTORE directory

5. Double-click on UNPROTEC.PIF.

   You will be instructed to insert the diagnostics CD and type the CD-ROM
   drive letter (the drive letter for the CD-ROM is G.)

6. Click on Start, Shutdown, Restart the Computer.

To "Re-protect" the demo, click on Start, Programs, Protect Instore System.
