There appears to be a problem with some Aptiva machines and the CD-ROM icon
disappearing.  This appears to happen when real mode drivers for the CD-ROM
do not properly load.  This problem occurs only in Windows 95.

To correct this condition, add the following line to your AUTOEXEC.BAT 
file:

     c:\windows\command\mscdex /l:d /d:ibmcd001

This should fix the problem.  If it does not, the CD-ROM software will have
to be reloaded.
