You can connect a mouse (250-2001), or other serial devices to your
computer's built-in serial port.

1. Prepare the serial device according to its user's guide.

2. Turn off your computer.

3. Pull down the hinged cover on the back of the computer, to open the
   serial/parallel port compartment.

4. Connect the serial cable's DB-9 connector to the connector in the port
   compartment labeled SERIAL.

5. Turn on the computer.

Internal:

You can install a special 2400-Baud Internal Modem (250-3525) or a 9600
FAX/2400 Modem (250-3532) in your computer.

Note: Refer to the modem or fax/modem manual for installation instructions.

CAUTION: Before you install or remove a modem, turn off your computer and
disconnect the AC adapter. Installing or removing a modem with the power
turned on could damage the modem and your computer.
