Stereo Electret Condenser Microphone
(330-1065) Operation Faxback Doc. # 47729
ADAPTORS:
For MONO operation you need RadioShack's Dual-Jack Adapter, #274-310. It
adapts your two mini plugs for use in a single or Mono jack.
If you have a system or recorder requiring a standard size 1/4" (6.35 mm)
phone plug, use RadioShack Adapter #274-325.
Other adapters you might need can be found at your RadioShack store.
Mike Head Setting Guides
There are four setting guide marks for each channel on the front of your
microphone.
1. Top guide markings: Both heads together.
This is the position for the mike heads for recording a speech, or
lecture, or for MONO operation.
2. Second or third guide markings: 90 degrees ~ 120 degrees apart.
This position is for recording in STEREO. Great for music recordings,
or for recording business conferences when you need to have "exactly
as it happened" minutes. Use it for other important meetings or
discussions, especially when a number of people "around the table"
need to be recorded.
3. Last or bottom guide markings: Mike heads 180 degrees apart.
Use this position setting for recording interviews. You do not have
to keep repositioning the mike between speakers, since this position
allows optimum pickup from each person.
This position is also very good for recording dialogue or
conversation.
Note: To avoid damage, the mike stand is designed so that it will detach
from the body if the microphone is hit hard from the top. If this
happens, hold the stand, put the left side into the (A) slot.
Press gently to the left until the right side (B) fits in the slot
easily.
