BATTERY INSTALLATION

You will need one type "AA" battery. We recommend RadioShack Cat. No.
23-873. To open battery cover lid, press down just above the word "Open"
and slide the lid in the direction shown by the arrow. Install the "AA"
battery with the (-) end towards the microphones. (Check markings on the
battery. The polarity should be marked on each end (-) negative (+)
positive.)

The battery's (-) end (flat bottom side) should be installed facing the
spring coil. The (+) end (small extension on the end) should face the
mike cord. Press down firmly to be sure both terminals (ends) of battery
have good contact. Then slide cover lid back into place. (It will not
pop into place. You must start from the bottom of the mike case and slide
it up.)

It is IMPORTANT to Remember:

When you are not going to be using your Realistic microphone, remove the
battery. Your battery will last longer. Also a weak or dead battery left
in a unit can easily cause serious damage to your microphone. (Even
so-called "leak-proof" batteries can leak damaging chemicals.)

Do not store your Realistic mike where it can be damaged by excessively
high temperatures or humidity.
