Connecting The System

Plug the speaker system's 1/8-inch SIGNAL INPUT cord into the audio
source's headphone jack.

Notes:  Be sure the audio source is turned off and the volume control is
        at its minimum level.

        Some audio sources might have a line out, CD out, or similar jack.
        You can use this jack instead of the headphone jack.

        If the audio source does not have a 1/8-inch jack, you need an
        adapter plug, such as Cat. No. 274-367.

Operating The System

Follow these steps to operate your amplified speaker system.

1.  Set the system's POWER OFF/ON button to ON.  The power indicator
    lights.

2.  Turn on the audio source.

3.  Adjust the system's VOLUME MIN/MAX control to a comfortable listening
    level.

4.  Set BASS BOOST IN/OUT to IN to enhance the low frequency sounds.
    Set BASS BOOST to OUT for normal bass sound.

5.  Set SURROUND IN/OUT to IN to enhance the stereo effect.  Set SURROUND
    to OUT for normal stereo effect.

6.  To Turn off the speaker system, set the system's POWER ON/OFF button
    to OFF.  The power indicator goes out.

7.  Turn off the audio source.  Then disconnect the audio source from the
    speaker system.
