Your Optimus SCR-65 Auto-Stop AM/FM Stereo Cassette Recorder is a versatile
easy-to-use music system. You can record from the radio or make live record-
ings, or just enjoy the radio or cassette player's high quality sound.

The SCR-65's compact design and handy carrying handle let you take it
almost anywhere.

    Build-in Speakers - lets you share the music with a friend.

           Phone Jack - lets you connect optional headphones with a 1/8-inch
                        plug so you can listen in privacy.

Dual-Source Recording - lets you record from the radio or use the built-in
                        microphone to make a live recording.

         TONE Control - easily adjusts to your desired tone (timbre).

             BEAT CUT - eliminates the whistling sound sometimes heard in
                        recordings of AM broadcasts.

      Automatic Level - automatically adjusts the recording level.
              Control

            Auto Stop - the recorder stops playing when it reaches the end
                        of one side of a tape.

  Three Power Sources - lets you power the SCR-65 from four C batteries
                        (not supplied), a standard AC outlet with an
                        optional AC adapter (not supplied), or your
                        vehicle's cigarette-lighter socket with an optional
