Copying a Cassette Tape (Dubbing)

NOTE: Each deck automatically stops when the tape reaches the end. We
recommend you copy to a tape that is the same length as the original
so that both decks stop at the same time.

Follow these steps to copy a cassette tape:

1. Set the function selector to DUB.

2. Set HIGH SPEED/AM BEAT for the desired copying speed:

UP to record at normal play speed.

DOWN to record at twice the normal speed.

3. Load the tape you want to copy in Tape 1. (See "Loading a Cassette
    Tape.")

4. Load a blank tape in Tape 2.

5. Press PAUSE for Tape 2.

6. Press RECORD for Tape 2. RECORD and PLAY lock down.

7. Press PLAY for Tape 1 to begin copying. PAUSE releases on Tape 2.

NOTE: You can listen to the tape playing on Tape 1 as you copy it. Set
VOLUME for a comfortable listening level. The volume setting does
           not affect the recording level.

8. Each Deck automatically stops when its tape reaches the end.

To manually stop copying, press STOP/EJECT for Tape 2. The tape in Tape
1 continues playing. Press STOP/EJECT for Tape 1 to stop the tape.
