Your microphone's preamplifier requires one AA battery (not supplied) for
power.  For the best performance and longest life, we recommend an alkaline
battery, such as RadioShack Cat. No. 23-557.

1.  Slide the battery compartment cover off in the direction of the arrow.

2.  Place a battery in the compartment according to the polarity symbols (+
    and -) marked inside.

3.  Replace the cover.

If the microphone stops working properly or the sound weakens, replace the
battery.

CAUTIONS:

     Use only a fresh battery of the recommended type and size.

     Always dispose of the old battery promptly and properly; do not burn
     or bury it.

     If you will not be using the microphone for 2 weeks or more, remove
     the battery.  Batteries can leak chemicals that damage your
     microphone's electronic parts.
