You need one AA battery (not supplied) to power your microphone.  We
recommend an alkaline battery, such as Cat. No. 23-552.

1.   Unscrew the microphone's lower case.

2.   Install the AA battery according to the polarity symbols (+ and -)
     marked inside the battery compartment.


TURNING ON/OFF THE MICROPHONE

To turn on the microphone, slide the microphone's switch to ON.

To temporarily disable the microphone (without hearing a "pop" when you
turn it off), slide the switch to STBY (standby).

Slide the switch to OFF to turn the microphone off when you are not using
it.
