CONNECTING POWER

AC OPERATION

1.  Plug in polarized AC line cord into AC wall outlet.

    NOTE:  Unit will not operate on batteries while line cord is plugged
           in.  Unplug AC line cord for external 15 V DC or car battery
           operation.

DC OPERATION (INTERNAL BATTERIES)

1.  Lift cover to reveal battery compartment.  Insert ten (10) "D" size
    alkaline batteries (not provided) as indicated.

2.  Replace cover tightly before operating.

3.  When not using batteries for a month or more, remove batteries to
    prevent leakage in compartment. Replace all batteries at the same time.

DC OPERATION (CAR BATTERY OR OTHER DC SOURCE)

1.  To use car battery cord, insert plug into DC 15V Input Jack on back of
    unit.

    NOTE:  Center pin of Input Jack unit is positive (+) polarity.
