The Compaq InkJet IJ200, 700, 900 drivers are on a CD that comes with the
printer.  The CD is in a red cardboard case labeled "IJx00 Color InkJet
Printer Drivers", "Sierra Home Print Artist".  This CD is an autorun CD but
if a manual install is needed simply click on "Start", "Run", and type
d:\setup and click OK.

NOTE:  Replace the "x" in these instructions with the appropriate number
for your printer: 2, 7, or 9

A screen comes up with 2 buttons:
"IJx00 Printer Setup"
"Bundled Software"

Click on the button labeled "IJx00 Printer Setup".  The following list of
options will appear:
"Install Printer Driver"
"View Online Documentation"
"Create Diskettes"
"Contacting Compaq"
"Visit Our Website"

Click on "Install Printer Driver".  The following list of printers will
appear:
"Compaq IJ200"
"Compaq IJ700"
"Compaq IJ900"

Click on the appropriate printer.  The "Add Printer Wizard" will begin to
run.  In addition a  "Printer Wizard Information" window will display some
additional information.

     "Printer Wizard Information"
     Follow the instructions on the Windows Printer Wizard.
     On the screen where you are asked to identify the printer manufacturer
     and printer model click the Have Disk...button.  In the "Install From
     Disk dialog box, enter the following path and click OK.
     D:\products\IJx00\windrv\
     This path is also listed in the "Copy manufacturer's files from"
     pulldown.

These instructions will remain until the Printer Wizard has completed the
installation.

Click Next on the Add Printer Wizard
Select Local Printer
Next
Click Have Disk
Click on the down arrow at right end of box and highlight
"D:\products\IJx00\windrv\"
Then click OK
Your printer will show up on the list
Click Next
Select LPT1
Click Next
Select Yes for Default Printer
Click Next
Click Yes for Compaq License Agreement

This will bring up the "Install New Cartridge" window
Click on the cartridge set that is being installed and physically install
the cartridges.
Click on "New Cartridges Installed"
