Perform the following steps to set the resolution to 1024 x 768 on a Compaq
Presario 2250 Series and 2500 Series personal computer.

1.  Right click on the background image, then click on Properties.

2.  Click on Setting then on Advanced Properties.

3.  In the Refresh Rate drop list, choose Adapter default.  Click on OK.

4.  Click OK again to let Windows adjust the refresh rate.

5.  In Display Properties window, click on Setting and change the
    resolution to 1024 x 768.
