INSTALLING THE RIBBON CARTRIDGE

1. Remove the vinyl cover from the ribbon cartridge.

2. Remove slack from the ribbon by turning the manual knob on the ribbon
   cartridge once or twice until the ribbon is taut.

3. Insert the ribbon into the space between the ribbon guide and card hold-
   er.  Press down on the ribbon cartridge until both ribbon cartridge 
   tabs snap.

4. If necessary, turn the manual knob on the ribbon cartridge 1/4 or 1/2 
   turn until the ribbon cartridge clicks down Be sure the ribbon cartridge 
   is properly secured.

CHANGING THE RIBBON CARTRIDGE

1. Lift up the front view cover.

2. Push the ribbon cartridge tabs outward with both thumbs and then lift up
   on the ribbon cartridge.

3. Install a new ribbon cartridge.

4. Close the front view cover as instructed previously.
