When you attach a VGM-510 to an IBM Aptiva Axx or Mxx Computer, the
customer may get either a "bouncing prompt" or a jittery screen when
exiting to MS-DOS mode

The problem is that the video settings on the computer are set an
inappropriate mode.  Follow the directions below to fix the problem:

1. Have the customer shut the computer down, then when rebooting, press F1
   to go into system setup.

2. From the CMOS SETUP, choose "Video and Monitor".

3. Arrow down to Monitor setup and press the right arrow key to change from
   PLUG and PLAY/DDC to SET REFRESH RATES.  This will change the refresh
   rates (in the bottom half of the screen) from 75HZ to 60HZ.

4. Press ESC - ESC - and choose YES< SAVE AND EXIT THE SETUP UTILITY.

The computer will reboot and the correct settings for DOS applications will
be installed.
