Attaching the Stand

Your monitor is designed to sit on a stand, which is supplied separately.
The interface for this stand is packed with your monitor and is fitted
as follows.

1.  Insert the hook (1) into the matching slots on the underside of the
    monitor.

2.  Slide the base towards the front of the monitor until the latch (3)
    clicks into the locked position.

    To attach the stand to the monitor please follow the instructions
    packed with the stand.

CAUTION:  Do not operate the monitor until the stand is attached.

          Before connecting the monitor, turn off the computer and
          attached devices.


Connecting your monitor

Step 1.  Plug the video signal cable connector (blue) into the 15 pin
         socket in the computer (A).

Step 2.  Plug the speaker connector (violet) into the socket marked OUT
         on the computer sound card (B).

Step 3.  Plug the microphone connector (orange) into the socket marked
         MIC on the computer sound card (B).

Step 4.  Connector the power cord (C) to the monitor first, then firmly
         insert the plug into a properly grounded electrical outlet (D).

Step 5.  Turn on the monitor, and then the computer.  If your monitor
         does not seem to be working correctly, refer to the Faxback Doc.
