Answer: Both the 230-0356 and the 230-0456 are zinc-air hearing aid batteries, and they should be completely interchangeable. They only difference is in minor physical features. The 230-0456 battery has flat surfaces on its positive side, where the 230-0356 battery has a raised circle of protruding metal.
